'FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY' - 2014
(UEA THIRD YEAR PROJECTS)
Chained together at the ankles, and framed for the murder of the beloved escape artist Richie Picks, four circus performers have just one night to escape from prison and exact revenge on their treacherous Ringmaster;
This tragicomedy following the exploits of Strongman Manzana, Stretch the Clown, Claudette the Dung-Shoveller, and Lesley the Illustrated Man was originally devised as a 15 minute short for the University of East Anglia's 'Third Year Projects Module', and is currently being developed into a full-length show.

The shows below were created and performed by some of our creatives whilst members of the Minotaur Theatre Company, a young company run by and for the students of the University of East Anglia. As graduates, we sadly had to move on, but the company has kindly granted us permission to use some of their photos from these productions.

AT THE EDINBURGH FRINGE 2013
The Librarians, trapped in an endless maze of bookcases, without daylight or a single customer in three decades, have all gone quite mad.
The ambitious and villainous Mandrake Hardbach has his sights firmly set on the coveted title of Chief Librarian, and will let nothing stand in his way: certainly not his hatred for books, certainly not rumours of a monster in the library, and certainly not his bumbling peers…

The Dream Sequentialists was originally produced as part of Minotaur Theatre Company's Shorts Festival 2012. The 20 minute short went on to win the in-house award for 'Favourite Short Play', voted for by the company.
